WRITTEN CEN EXAM TO BE OFFERED ON THE EASTERN SHORE

Peninsula Regional Medical Center in collaboration with the Eastern Shore Chapter of the Maryland State Council of the Emergency Nurses Association is sponsoring a “pencil and paper” written exam on October 16th 2008 from 800-1200.  For more information, contact SueKay.Ulrich@peninsula.org.  Applications are due no later than August 22, 2008 to: Patti Serkes, ED Center,100 E. CERTIFICATION IN PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY NURSING (CPEN)

EXAMINATION REGISTRATION BEGNS AUG 5th!! J

 

New certification Examination for PEDIATRIC Emergency Nurses is almost here!!!  This examination, jointly sponsored by BCEN (Board of Certification in Emergency Nursing) and PNCB (Pediatric Nursing Certification Board), will be offered for the FIRST TIME in October 2008. This initial examination will be limited to the first 200 nurses to register, beginning on Monday morning, 5 August 2008.  The examination will be offered on a regular basis in January 2009.

Detailed information about the examination, how to register, sample questions, and suggested study references can be found on the National ENA website, http://www.ena.org/bcen/cpen/about.asp.  This link will continue to be updated with additional information as this first examination date gets closer.
