Linda Arapian Receives ACEP Emergency Nurse of the Year Award !

Linda Arapian (pictured below) received her award at the Maryland State American College of Emergency Physician conference on April 18th, 2008 in Baltimore from Dr. Rick Alcorta (pictured below). Mary Alice Vanhoy, Maryland State ENA President was also present for the presentation (pictured below). Linda is well known as an educator…. course directing ENPC, TNCC Provider and Instructor courses; educational conferences including ENA by the Bay; and as a presenter for multiple local, state and national events. Her audiences have been nurses, physicians, EMS professionals and community members. Linda has consistently dedicated herself to Maryland State ENA tirelessly contributing at the local and state levels as officers, committee chairpersons, committee members, state delegates to the National convention, representative to National ENA committees, injury prevention advocate, etc. In either her leadership or committee roles for Md. State ENA, she consistently proves herself to be a reliable professional and a clinical resource. Linda has additionally authored publications for nurses regarding pediatric care and transport. While she has worked primarily in Washington DC, much of her work has been in the Maryland area for emergency nurses. Linda has been recognized for practice excellence and for dedicated service. With all she has done in her career, it is no wonder that she received this designation and award.
